TripSuite (“we”, “our”, or “the app”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how it is used.
1. Information We Collect
We collect only the information necessary to provide a high-quality travel planning experience:
- a. Account Information — When you create an account, we collect your name and email address (via Apple Sign-In or other authentication). We do not store passwords directly.
- b. User Content — Trip details, itineraries, notes, and preferences you enter into the app. This content is used to power your experience and is stored securely on our servers.
- c. Location Information — If you grant location access, we may use your location to suggest relevant cities, airports, or nearby options. Location is never stored persistently without your explicit action.
- d. Purchase Information — Subscription and purchase data is handled by Apple via the App Store. We receive confirmation of subscription status but do not store payment card details.
- e. Usage and Diagnostic Data — Anonymized usage statistics and crash reports to help us improve app performance and fix issues. This data is not linked to your identity.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve TripSuite features
- Generate AI-powered trip plans, suggestions, and conflict detection
- Sync your data across your devices
- Respond to support requests and communicate service updates
- Detect and prevent fraud or abuse
We do not use your data for advertising and we do not build behavioral profiles for third-party purposes.
3. AI Features and Data Usage
TripSuite uses AI models to help plan trips, detect scheduling conflicts, and generate recommendations. When you use AI-powered features, your trip content (such as destinations, dates, and preferences) may be sent to an AI provider for processing.
We work only with providers that meet our data handling standards. Your content is not used to train AI models by our providers under our agreements. We do not sell your data to AI companies.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share data with:
- Service providers — Infrastructure, hosting, and analytics partners who process data on our behalf under strict confidentiality agreements
- AI processing partners — Only the minimum content needed to generate a response, as described in Section 3
- Legal requirements — When required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users and the public
5. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on secure servers. We use encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest where applicable. Access to user data is restricted to authorized personnel only.
While we work hard to protect your information, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password and to enable two-factor authentication where available.
6. Notifications
If you grant notification permissions, TripSuite may send you reminders, trip alerts, and product updates. You can manage or disable notifications at any time in your device settings. We do not send unsolicited promotional messages.
7. Account Deletion
You can delete your TripSuite account at any time from within the app under Settings. Upon deletion, your personal data and trip history will be permanently removed from our systems within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

8. Children's Privacy
TripSuite is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with their data, please contact us and we will promptly remove it.

- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to or restrict certain types of processing
- Data portability (receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format)
